Walking a Labyrinth
We believe that spiritual transformation often begins not in striving, but in stillness. Through contemplative practices, we invite people to step away from the noise and distractions of daily life and into a deeper awareness of God's love, guidance, and healing presence. Our prayer labyrinth is one such practice.
Our labyrinth is not a maze to be solved but a pathway to be walked. With no dead ends and no wrong turns, it serves as a metaphor for the spiritual journey itself—a journey that leads us inward toward God, toward our true selves, and ultimately back into the world renewed and restored. As pilgrims have discovered throughout Christian history, the path becomes a place of prayer, reflection, listening, and surrender.
Many who come to The Resting Place arrive carrying questions, grief, weariness, transitions, or a longing for deeper connection with God. Others simply sense an invitation to pause and breathe. Whatever brings you here, you are welcome.
The ancient Christian tradition often describes the spiritual journey as a threefold path: releasing, receiving, and returning. As we let go of what burdens us, open ourselves to God's presence, and carry that grace back into our everyday lives, we discover that rest is not the absence of movement—it is learning to walk with God.
